The Round Up is Tops
Congrats to The Round Up for being named Out Traveler's top gay country & western bar in America. Here's what they had to say:

We'll just have to get our fix this weekend, when he's DJing (is that a verb?) the POPular party. It's at the new gay hotspot DISH in the ilume.
We're told that it'll be a balls-out club setting with full-blown sound system and gads of hot people (hopefully lots of boys and very little girls...except our hags, of course).

Gay filmfest looking for volunteers
GLBT filmfest OUT TAKES Dallas is looking for fun, enthusiastic volunteers for its next screening on Thursday, February 11th.
Volunteers are needed for Mixer setup, ticket takers, ushers, as well as other general volunteer duties during our screenings and events. Volunteer hours available are between 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Any time that you have to give within that time frame to support this great festival would be appreciated. You don't necessarily need to be available the entire time.
